Brothers
This part of the jobs sucks big time !! That been said.
I received a call from Dave Grant B Troop Rep and was told that another Brother has made his way to Fiddlers Green .
Our Brother Dave Davis passed on Wednesday surrounded by his family he was at peace and never complained and never afraid he fought with cancer the past 7 years.
Even though he was battling cancer Dave meet with Howie Bachman and was a large part in finding the spot for our Reunion in his home of Colorado Springs.
He was so excited about us coming to Colorado Springs he made me promises to contact him we the recon team arrived so he could be part of the process.
Dave Grant has extended an offer to Dave's wife and Family to be B Troops Guest at the reunion he worked so hard on. If you see them at the reunion please welcome them, let them know that they are part of our family.

16,aka Lloyd Edwards and 36,aka John Robertson (baby john) this is 26, aka the infamous LT that blew up the school north of the River at Cam Lo. Was nice to see your posts concerning Col Bradberry. He was a soldiers soldier and I too was very glad to see him in Williamsburg with "Capt" Bachman ( always capt to me ). I wanted to see you both in Colo this summer but I am driving out there this fall for Elk Hunting Camp and camping with my son and grandson on Isle Royale in Lake Superior this July so I can't fit it in. Anyway, enjoy yourselves and I look forward to seeing you down the road. Keep your stick on the ice, the Snake Eater.

Was Platoon Leader of 1st Plt.-C Trp. 5/70 until 10/70. Just a belated word about Col. Bradberry. One day, late in the afternoon, we were finally able to test-fire our .50 Cal. Was hard to get permission because of the range and our often being near populated areas. Turned out that three of our .50s malfunctioned. I called to the rear to ask for parts. A short while later a chopper showed up. We were on a hilltop and it suddenly rose out of nowhere. I could see a big grin on the person flying the chopper. It was Col. Bradberry. The pilot was sitting next to him. He had personally come out to deliver the parts. That was the kind of guy he was. I always thought of him as being indestructable. I was sure glad to see him in Williamsburg. RIP Sir!

I received this request from Stanley Skinner by way of Leroy Jablonsky who tried to post this.

Please Remember Brothers The guestbook will not allow e-mail address or wed site links to be posted.

My name is Stanley Skinner and I served with C/Trp 2nd/Plt 3/5 Cav from 5/71-to 11/71/ Does anyone remember our Capt. landing in our RON one day and stating that the 7 or 8 of us standing in front of him would receive the Bronze Star, CIB and if warranted the Purple Heart. Will low and behold that never happened, no record of awards on my DD-214 . Now in the process of filing a claim and to have any of the above awards would help. If you remember this could you take the time and send me an e-Mail

Bruce Breault. "Do your ever feel sad? Lean on me when tiems are bad. Situations fade way....OH lord I'm comming." One of sounds we played on our track. I'm not sure if I still have it but I had a picture of you cleaning out (25)SO Glad to see you here.
