Served with D3/5 and was there when C3/17 became part of 3/5 at the start on Lam Son 719. "Charlie Horse 26"

I was with the 3/4 Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division aero rifles, just after they returned from Vietnam to Schofield Barracks. Everyone above the rank of E-4 were Vietnam veterans. I learned alot from those guys and will never forget them or the sacrifices they made. The best men I have ever met were soldiers. I just happened upon your website, and having just passed memorial day, I wanted to comment on your website and reflect on all the good men who've served each other and our great country. I was with the 8th Battalion 4th Artillery (part of 108th Artillery Group, XXIV Corps) from the end of 1970 through most of 1971 and the 3/5 Cav provided our security and we provided fire support for you when the 3/5 was part of 1st Brigade 5th Mech. I was at Firebases A-4, C-2 and C-1 in addition to time in the field during Operation Lam Son 719. Thanks, guys.
