Comments: I served as a 63C for two years at Ft Lewis in A Troop,77-78. Peacetime, thank god. We had tremendious pride in our unit. I recall breaking the Ft Lewis record for staying in the field for a ten month stretch. My hat is off to you all the served combat duty in the 3/5 Cav.

Comments: Severed 1996-1997 then moved to Friedburg. Assigned as driver for 3-5 Cav commander. Retired on May 22, 2000.
Comments: It is my sad duty to inform all you troopers that one of our brothers has moved on to Fiddler's Green. This Cav man was David O'Saille, who joined us right before Wonder Beach in '68. David, aka Gabby, worked in the HHT motor pool. He was one of our Charter Members, attending the 1987 reunion. If you are in White House, TN - the viewing is Friday, Sept 6 and the service is Saturday, Sept. 7 - Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House, TN. If you ain't Cav, you ain't **** !

Comments: It's been a few years since I last put in my 2 cents worth. I recently missed another reunion due to reasons that I had no control over. But it has made me wonder what happened to all the boat people that I served with !!! If your reading this then you , like me , are still looking for something. Found a few but most don't remember much. too distant. For those that made it to Colorado, I hope it made your century. From what I understand ,only "3" people from that period made it.I guess the whole sqaudron has gone on to fiddlers green.Would love to "talk" to those who still have memories of a time when we were "able" to do things and feel things that we dont't and can't do now. I know you ar eout there!!!
