Comments: Hello black knights, my name is Matthew Wolfard I am the proud son of a black knight, Mr Michael L Wolfard (from Fremont Cali). I'm not sure of what years my father served in veitnam, I just know he was proud soldier. I'm on here to find anyone who knew my father or may have served with my father. In December of 2013 my father passed away from diabetes he got from agent orange. I have all of my dad's military stuff from veitnam and his 25 years in the army, I kept all of it because he was my hero...well all of you are my hero's. I'm on here trying to find any info about my father's tour in veitnam. So, if anyone knew my father or how to get some info on him please let me know. Thank you and God bless all you knights

Comments: Brother's It is with a sad heart that I have to inform you that Rafael 'Ralph' Ramos Rosario, has passed on to Fiddlers Green this week. Our prayers go out to his family. Ralph served in Vietnam in A Troop 1st Platoon from December 1966 to December 1967. He was a card caring member and loved to come to the Reunions. He always had a smile and a good word for all of his Brothers. He was in attendance at the Colorado Springs Reunion in his wheel chair with a smile. Ralph was a true brother in every sense of the word, and he will be missed greatly. Boots and Saddles Our Brother

Comments: Dewey, In answering your and Clinton Weakley's question about the name of Sgt. Williams gunner who was KIA in the RPG hit on Williams tank, was, Sgt. Willie Angus my best friend at that time. I was driving Sgt Weakley's tank catching up to William's tank within about 20 yrd.'s when it was hit exploding immediately blowing Sgt William's out, killing
Willie and the loadee, blowing the driver, Harold Spears out of his hatch badly brusing his thighs and his chest. Sgt Weakly my t.
c. killed the killer team of 3 that day. I can't remember the loader's name, but I can see his face vividly This a memory I'll never forget.

Comments: Clinton Weekley called me today and brought back many memories, I told him about the reunions both Troop and Sqdn. and he had a few questions so I told him to get to the web site and then the guest book and ask his questions. We are looking for Lt Richard Smith a Plt Ldr in A Troop. we also need the name of the gunner on SFC Williams tank who was KIA near FSB Apple. I also keep a list of those who have passed since our return, each reunion we recognize those members.
Comments: Bill Vaughn: Bill what did you do at Dong tam? I was up north from June 68 to end of Feb 69 and then after R&R ended up at Dong Tam until I rotated home. It was pretty small place. I am sure we ran across each other.
