Comments: I had to come visit & pay respects to the 3/5 Cav. Hubert Ray Parrish was a TC from 70-71 until he was combat wounded. He & my dad where best friends growing up, his dad & my grandfather & great uncle where friends growing up as well. I have to dig out a couple pictures Ray gave me & a letter he sent my dad a couple months before being wounded. The paper still has the red dirt discoloration. Thank you to all the veterans who defended & defend this great nation.
Comments: My brother Roger Hinen served in Vietnam around 1968. He was with the 3/5 Cav Black Knights. I'm wondering if anyone may have known him. I know he flew with LTC Ace Alan Cozzalio.
Comments: Enjoyed looking over the website. I am the grandson of Steve Courtney. I still have great memories of attending the reunion in 2003 in KY with him. He passed in February 2021. Not a day goes by without him on my mind. Those of you that knew him, know that we were very close. Thank you guys. I would love to hear from some of you that knew him.

Comments: I just found out that Larry Norrell passed away on April 23, 2023. Larry was a medic with the 3/5 cav 1st platoon C troop. He was in Vietnam in 1970. He saved my life on April 9, 1970. I think he was wounded May 28, 1970 and sent home. From what I understand he was haunted by the memories of the war. He was truly a hero.
