Comments: hello, I was member of A troop on the 40 track, between june 69 to june 1970. capt. Meigs was CO for most of my time. I think he retired a 3 star general. I like the guy. I sure woud like to remember more. I remember Randy Strickland. I also remember Larry Mosely. He was dusted off because of an rpg, He lost part of his hand. I feel pretty good about writing this. Its helping me remember more. I remember 26 accidently killing himself while cleaning his 45. I have some memories of hill 937. We escorted an artillery out fit there. I rember going to an area called the backyard. It seems like every time we went in there someone would hit a mine. One time the track in front of me hit a mine. It tipped the track on its side. No one was hurt bad though. Another time I remmember a driver losing his leg when the mine blew thru the floor. I hope to hear from others who were there about the same time.
Comments: I was a Huey pilot in D Trp. when the 3-5 was at Ft. Lewis, WA in the 1980's. We flew search and rescue missions around Mt. St. Helens after it blew in 1980.
Comments: John Larson, were you the chaplin who visited with me on the hospital ship Repose after i was wounded with the 3/5?It was the ambush that was fired on.
Comments: I was assigned to HHC and was squadron chaplain from June 1968 to June 1969. LTC Carpenter was our squadron commander when I returned stateside. At that time we were entering the Asha Valley. Sure would like to hear from some of you. It was a great year. Proud of all who served with us.

Comments: Hello everyone, served in B Troop, 2nd Plt. form January 1971 till November 1971.
Comments: Justin White, If the Jon White you are talking about was in A Troop 3rd platoon in 67'-68' I remember him well for I was a Tanker at that time. I've posted names of my fellow troopers that I remembered & he was one of them. I've pictures of him and me, I believe it was in camp eagle or Asha Valley. He was a great guy and I hope all is well with him and family. He might not remember me but I'd sure like to talk with him. If he feels like it or you may call me at 530-223-5852, Terry.

Comments: I saw a note today on a new book about Ace Cozzalio - I heard that name and so many others from my husband Samuel P Munn who served proudly in 3rd/5th Cav. On the book's website, an old photo of Mike Rasbury and Check Noles brought a smile.
After that I had to visit the 3rd/5th webpage and just say Hi. Samm loved and respected the men he served with. I know he is smiling down on all of us from Fiddler's Green.
