I served with the great 3/5 as my first unit in the Army. I was stationed there at the Rock from June 1990 - June 1992. I am very proud of my service there it was a terrific stepping stone to a 26 year career.

Monday 5-8-2017 will be 50 yrs since I stepped off that big bird that set me into another world that none of us will ever forget. It really doesn't seem possible that it's been this long, because at times it seems like we were just there. I've been fortunate to be in contact with about 7 members of my platoon, A Trp. 3rd plt., from time in coutry from 5-8-67 to 5-8-68. Been lucky to have two members of my plt. during my time, to be living in the same town as me, how good is that! Anyway just thought I'd put my two cents in hoping all my fellow troopers are living out their lives more peaceful and content. There are still troopers that were in my plt. that I've not been able to find, as we all have, so if any of you remember me, feel free to contact me by email or call 530-223-5852.
