10/29/2021 at the VA in Lexington Ky a made my jacket with our logo and asked was I with the 3/5 Cav and turned out he was with the Black Knights with C Troop then Headquarters Troop with Helicopters and the year was 1969. His name is Leonard Neil and he lives in Lexi

Served with C Troop. 2nd Platoon (22 track)--9th Infantry at Dong Ha. 9/1969 to 9/1970. Last year diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Petitioned the VA and they agreed it was caused (or could have been caused) by exposure to Agent Orange. Anyone with this cancer needing help getting VA benefits, I would be happy to try and help.

Anyone with info on Col. Sidney Hazard (sp??) who was CO of the 3/5 in late 66 early 67; (I’m USN/River Patrol Boats, Dong Tam, RivDiv 5; 1969; not used to army lingo). I’m doing a story for Vietnam Magazine on one of the Loach pilots that was with D troop Jan. 67 to late March 67 when he was shot down. If you can assist with background info on Col. Hazard, please email.
