Comments: Served with C Troop. 2nd Platoon (22 track)--9th Infantry at Dong Ha. 9/1969 to 9/1970. Last year diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Petitioned the VA and they agreed it was caused (or could have been caused) by exposure to Agent Orange. Anyone with this cancer needing help getting VA benefits, I would be happy to try and help.
Comments: Anyone with info on Col. Sidney Hazard (sp??) who was CO of the 3/5 in late 66 early 67; (I’m USN/River Patrol Boats, Dong Tam, RivDiv 5; 1969; not used to army lingo). I’m doing a story for Vietnam Magazine on one of the Loach pilots that was with D troop Jan. 67 to late March 67 when he was shot down. If you can assist with background info on Col. Hazard, please email.

Comments: I'm a former A Top. 7th Cav. M60 tank gunner stationed in Bamburg and Schweinfurt Germany with the 3rd Inf. Div. My platoon sergeant and tank commander SFC Ben W. Howell was killed during Tet May 1968. He had only been in Vietnam a month when he was killed. Ben was with A top. 3rd stern 5th can. 9th Inf
I posted a comment on the wall where a Professor Evan Leavitt from a Georgia College from Milledge Ga. contacted me. I gave him all pictures I had but was surprised no one from the 5th Cav came forward who might have known him. Not even family hasn't helped. Comments: Just wanted to let everyone know I have been in the Lexington Ky VA sinceThursday July 15 and had cancer removed from my right lung and they removed the lobe as well. Sounds like I may be released tomorrow. Just checking in
