Comments: Commo guy Red Oak Niner Bravo. Back in Feb. I asked if anyone remembered the tank falling into the Qua Viet river, or the Sgt. who blew himself out of the tank. I thank the guys who shared their memories and pics. I also recall a tank rolling into a crevasse and flipping. Another incident happened as we were heading north out of Wunder Beach (I think) in a long column along the coast. A large chopper roared along our right from the rear, tipped the rotor and snapped off several antennas, banked out to sea as some guys swung 50 cals. but didn't fire. I know it wasn't a dream, 'cause I had to replace the antennas. This would have been 'B' Troop some time before Nov. 68. Anyone else recall any of these times, gimme a shout. Have a great summer guys. Bless the Ba$tard Cav.If anyone knows where I can get a copy of "If You Ain't Cav..." let me know. Col. Mahler was nice enough to let me read his but they are hard to find. "Ringed in Steel" is available at Amazon.
