Comments: I'm wondering if anyone who was in "B" Troop, summer of '68, in the field, when one night (it might have been the 4th of July, but not certain), at midnight, about 30 star clusters were shot off around the whole perimeter at the same time. Then all was dark and quiet again. So many hazy memories. I've been writing them down before they are all lost. Stay alive, brothers Niner Bravo
Comments: I would like to hear from anyone who was a member of the B Troop platoon that was ambushed on the Old French Road in the A Shau Valley on 9-10 October 1971. We lost one trooper (wounded) when the last track (APC) in our column was hit by a command-detonated mine. I would especially like to know the name of the platoon medic; I think that his first name was Dennis. Thanks!
