Comments: Does anyone remember the CMMI shortly after we moved to Evans in Nov 68? I remember it was a real Chinese fire drill, but have no idea how it turned out.

Comments: Just talked with Al Caverson. It’s been so long ago that I have forgotten some really great friends. After I got wounded in Oct ‘69 my memory was really damaged. I can remember little bits and pieces but can’t put most of them together. I pray I will be able to get to a reunion before I go. Take care and GOD BLESS the best people I was ever around.

Comments: Well just thinking of my time in country as of tomorrow 4/6/20 started my trip home! 50 years ago, I can't believe it myself! I was in the 4/69 to 4/70. Wish all that are still around good health. Those that we have lost RIP.
Comments: I am not a veteran but am (was) a kid brother to a Vietnam Vet. I volunteer at Mid America Flight Museum in Mount Pleasant, TX. Our museum recently acquired UH-1D 67-17238, (Long Knife 21) which we understand was flown by Troop D, 3/5th. We are in touch with former crew chief of this aircraft David Riley and a couple of more who were associated with this aircraft. I would love for anyone who who served in Troop D, to email with photos or other information they might care to share.
MAFM maintains an active presence on Facebook.
Our goal at Mid America Flight Museum is to honor our country's veterans. May god bless you all and we thank you for your service.

Comments: Cathy Moresco (Tom). C Troop. Is very ill. Spoke to Tom and then spoke to Cathy. She is very ill on hospice at this point. I'm asking for a prayer chain for Cathy. Also for PRAYERS for all our Black Knight Families at this terrible time. Sincerely G a y and Kurt Kratzer
Comments: A trp 2nd platoon Sept 70 - Sept 71, drove 26 after Shortround left the field. I’ve been bad about checking back here. Spending weeks at a time in the summer in Woodruff, Wi. fishing. Retired, working full time as a grandpa. I’ll keep a better watch here now that covid-19 is keeping me home. Take care all of you.
