Comments: Where are the vets from 1966 to 1967??? I know I can't be the only one or two to still be kickin arround. I rember playin acee ducee on the Upshure , throwing money away ,literally. Remember handling a grader being pulled by my apc to make a camp called bearcat. remember the ambushes as we plowed thru jungle, and the smart shits would walk right beside us. Wesmoreland , handing out purple hearts for some one that ran into a tree stump in a apc and loosing some teeth.Get Real people !!! Ap Bau Bang ,Was there, Xuan loc, Was there. Night patrolls, Was there. Alot of people wished I wasn't the patrol leader because I went out there. Gettin s*** duty I was there . Getin blown up,was there. Almost charged with paying for a APC when it cauht on fire.was there, C-4 burns. People should watch where they are throwing lit cigarettes. Carried a lot of it,C-4 that is. How about all the beer they used to shove at us.Case a day keeps the memories away! How many hot meals do you remember? HOW MANY TIMES DID TOU SLEEP ON A COT AT BASE CAMP? Me, NONE. How many times did you even see Base camp??? How many times did you even get to relax in the time you were there?? For the uys that first went over there, and made it thru, I salute you .. You were THE men who were the CAV.

Comments: Not much of a writer, but I was in "C" Trp, 3rd Plt., in 1971, until "the Cav" stood down. I was on a Sheridan, #39. It had " War Daddy", painted on the main gun. Just want to give everyone a big "Welcome Home"! It's all about "the Brotherhood"!!!!
