Comments: Hi Rick. I often wondered what happened to the old M14. It had the barrell hacksawed off with a grease gun flash suppressor attached to what was left just in front of the gas plug, a bipod and a pistol grip with a full auto switch installed and a starlight scope mount. I still have a photo or two of the thing. You are right, it was an M14A1E1 TOE squad automatic weapon issued to troops in Korea at the time. My recollection is that we helped Harper through your rear door and you were already crowded. I think I caught a ride with someone else because you were so full. I also seem to remember that you also got hit about that same time? Do I have it right or is my "fog" getting thicker?
