To Gary Vaught: Iwas your Troop Commander at the time you were wounded. The actual enemy contact you were in with A Troop's 3rd Platoon started around midnight Feb 28/Mar 1 and concluded on Mar 1. That's why there is the difference. During that contact, Lt Al Kincer was mortally wounded (he died in the hospital at Quang Tri on Mar 1)and 6 troopers were wounded and evacuated to Quang Tri. I was with A-troop 2/67-1/68.Iwas on A- 35 for 3 mo. then I drove A-37 until Dec. 15 67,took a 30 day leave came back to Bear cat.
