Comments: Hi. I was TDY with the Black Knights from the 709th Maint. Bn. the night that the Tet offensive started. I was mounting side armor on the top hatch of the APCs to protect the gunners.

Comments: 1st day out saw a sheridan (not mine) hit a 750 pounder. I remember the medics face after he saw the bicyclist selling ice cream wrapped in the pc tread. the ron's and drinking tiger beer from young sabatour if deposit not paid.reading posts remember some names -Alfie, doc, John Boy, and of course pops playing solitair under the poncho in the rain..welcome home and w lldone all.
