Comments: Hey BIA's doing good and listening to Oldies and was inspired to write this words Fred Calvo.. cancer like the sound of silence grows, and when pain and darkness come like a bridge over troubled water i will lay me down, but here comes the sun and everything is going to be alright. words inspired by George Harrison(Beatles), Simon& Garfunkel
My name is Tom Tipton. My Cousin Tim Tipton was a 11B in C Troop from November 2, 1968 until he was killed at Nui Tot Mon on April 18, 1969. I was wondering if you could share any personal information regarding this battle (I've read the AAR on the website, which by the way, is an awesome website). Do you know what type of track he was assigned to? How many tracks were in C troop? What sort of responsibilities would an 11B have on a track?
I plan on visiting Northern I Corp in March of 2011 with a group called Vietnam Battlefield Tours. Any information or that relates to Tim and C Troop would be very much appreciated. My cell phone number is (916) 224-1911 and home number is (916) 629-9137.
Thanks you all for your service and welcome home. You're all Heros in my book.

Comments: Today is the anniversary of my first night in the field with A Troop, 3plt in 1969; my heartfelt condolences to C Troop, who lost a number of good men this night when their ndp was attacked. We were in a "blocking position" and watched while this happened, unable to go to your assistance due to orders...I still feel the guilt of being unable to help, and remember so well the reception you guys gave us the next morning. You were the heros...such bravery, such brotherhood. I'd love to hear from any of you-please call me at (315) 262-2497. My tears are with you.
