Comments: ATTN Dean J. Moretti and Juan R. Cantu I am one of the Marines that was on that tank and we disconnected it. The other Marine has serious health issues from Agent Orange and his wounds that he obtained in Vietnam. I visited him 6 months ago his health is bad. There was a colonel that was there in a jeep. He took our serial numbers and our names and put us up for a bronze star, which we never recieved. The other Marines name is Chuck my name is Bob. We never thought we were gonna make it out of Vietnam so we could care a less, but Chucks children sure do want that award and im doing my best to obtain it. My email address is kaelobo@yahoo.com my phone number is 720-785-0419 I have been looking for over a year. I would really appreciate any response day or night-anytime USMC

Comments: The 48 with GOD on gun tube burnt on highway 9 just before CamLo village. Driver hatch opened while being towed by VTR. A spark caught oil on hull floor on fire. Burnt all evening and all night. It was Dec. 69 or Jan 70 . 3/5 cav C troop 3rd platoon secured road. Do remember Marines but no names. No one was happy about GOD on gun tube. SGT was warned that bad things would happen !
