Comments: Such Good Men " I know why men who have been to war yearn to reunite. Not to tell stories or look at old pictures. Not to laugh or weep. Comrades gather together because they long to be with the men who once acted at their best; men who suffered and sacrificed, who were striped of their humanity. I did not pick these men, they were delivered by fate and the military. But I know them in a way I know I know no other men. I have never given anyone such trust. They were willing to guard something more precious than my life. They would have carried my reputation, the memory of me. It was part of the bargain we all made, the reason we were so willing to die for one another. As long as I have memory, I will think of them all, Everyday. I am sure that when I leave this world, my last thoughts will be of my family and my comrades ..... SUCH GOOD MEN!!!!

Comments: Just wanted to say what an awesome time I had at this year's reunion! Thanks so much for allowing me to join you all once again! It was a real privilege & honor to be there. I also want to remind all of you that there is a facebook page for the 3/5 Cav & will be a ladies page as soon as Mike Cook & I can get it up & running. I would add the url address, but this site doesn't allow me to. So, just go on facebook & look for your red, black & white symbol as the profile pic & you'll find it that way. Hope to see you there! Love & blessings, Michelle, your 3/5 Cav FB hostess. <3
