hey troopers ,,well just to let everyone know that I am doing good and just completed my 2nd of 3 chemo treatment for my stomach cancer and happy to report that it's doing its job ..my levels are good and doing my walking and excercises and looking forward to the next C-Troop and Black Knights reunion..BI fred ctroop 2nd Plt.'68-'69

I do not remenber names that well,but remember "War daddy track" i was an fng,[driver in apc's and Sheridans] august 71 on.got the s*** scared out of me for the 1st 2 "mad minutes",after that? I was still scared shitless!

Hi Rick. I often wondered what happened to the old M14. It had the barrell hacksawed off with a grease gun flash suppressor attached to what was left just in front of the gas plug, a bipod and a pistol grip with a full auto switch installed and a starlight scope mount. I still have a photo or two of the thing. You are right, it was an M14A1E1 TOE squad automatic weapon issued to troops in Korea at the time. It came from the engineers in Wonder Beach after some slick trading. John Osgood jrosgood@earthlink.net
