Comments: Hi Rick. I often wondered what happened to the old M14. It had the barrell hacksawed off with a grease gun flash suppressor attached to what was left just in front of the gas plug, a bipod and a pistol grip with a full auto switch installed and a starlight scope mount. I still have a photo or two of the thing. You are right, it was an M14A1E1 TOE squad automatic weapon issued to troops in Korea at the time.
