Walter Hopkins.....I was the first platoon scout section leader for the first half of my tour. Sgt Cooper and I were together from Ft Riley. Your 14 track was brought back to Blackhorse basecamp. I have a picture of it. Did you know a guy named Becerril? Email me if you'd like. echam39239@bresnan.net.

Forgot to mention, was driving b14apc on nov4,67 when a mine flipped the track, and Sgt Alex Cooper was killed. I still have the clapper board--made of bamboo, and copper wire, that set the mine off.The track was towed to ausse firebase, and taken out with a sky crane.

APC14 driver B troop 3/5 cav sept 67-feb68--infused to 1/1 cav after Tet to ride a M132 flamethrower track in I corps till deros . Can't remember names, but I'm sure there are still old friends that still can. Proud to have served with such a great bunch of fellow troopers. A lot of water over the dam, but will never regret the service to our country. God Bless you all.
