MIKE BUXTON; I WAS WITH C TROOP FOR MTHE FIRST TWO MONTHS I WAS THERE, AT PHONG DIEN. THEN I WAS TRANSFERRED TO HEADQUARTERS TROOP AND WE WENT TO DONG HA, OR CAMP EVANS ABOUT APRIL OF 69. THE 3RD MMARINE DIV WAS LEAVING AT THAT TIME. I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT PLATOON I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN. YOU GUYS WERE IN THE FIELD, AND I WAS AT CAMP EVANS PUSHING PAPER. I WAS TROOP CLERK AND AWARDS AND DECORATIONS CLERK. IF YOUR R AND R WENT WITHOUT A HITCH THEN THAT WAS ME MTHAT MADE THAT HAPPEN. I DID GET A RIDE TO FIRE BASE C-2 SEVERAL TIMES TO DO SOME AWARDS AND DECORATIONS WORK. C TROOP WAS IN ANLO VALLEY IN APRIL OF 69 AND I SPENT A FEW MDAYS AT C-2 WRITING UP PURPLE HEARTS, BRONZE STARS, AND SILVER STARS. I HAD IT EASY, YOU GUYS WERE THE REAL GUYS OF THE CAV. ANYWAYS THANKS FOR ASKING, I DON,T REMEMBER WHAT PLATOON I WAS IN . I HOPE I COULD MAKE A REUNION SOME TIME IF I WAS WELCOME. THANKS MIKE, TAKE CARE.

I was a medic assingded to 3/5 but attached to 2nd 34th Armor. I"m afraid that like many of you I've forgotten many names too. I would like to know if anyone can remember Mitchell Teich or his pal Curly. This was in 1970 and they were part of a motar crew with their own PC.They were 3/5 and I would like to hear from them.We leave the place behind but the memories we keep.

to all it been a long time coming and a long wait i finally got rated for PTSD. Its been a well worth while battle with the VA. I want to thank all of those who gave me advise and buddie letters to help me in my case. I know im late but I want wish u'll a happy new year. In God we Trust. God bless america.
