Comments: Tom Mowry, I tried to call you at a number listed in your name in Pascoag, but it was reported disconnected. I remember Bozo, Doris and their pups too. 1st Plt, A Trp had one of the pups, but he didn't survive. I'd like to talk with you more about the Bandaids. Call me at 222-5817 0r 578-8388. Comments: Tom Mowry. I just read your guestbook entry. I rode with C-Trp from Sept 67 to Aug 68. I probably would remember you, but not by name. I hardly remember any one by name. We spent a lot of time at the medic track for a while after we found out you guys carried some special items in case we didn't get near the PX for a long time. Apparently we over did it because after a while we got cut off. I was a "mechanic" I started out as driver on the VTR with Frank Stone and Jim Hinds, but after a few run-ins with the Old Man, we went over to the mechanic track. In retrospect, we were lucky he didn't send us to the other side. On another note, I want to say I think you guys have been doing a great job on the web-site. Thanks a lot to all involved.
Comments: To Tom Mowry,I remember Bozo as pup and Doris, some other species of dog, growing up together riding on separate tracks. I think they were on the scouts tracks. One day after a hard day of busting jungle, the trp. busted out an R.O.N. for the night. Bozo and Doris desided it was time to test their maturity by getting locked up with one another while the trp. hailed them on. It seemed halarious at the time, but as you know some stupid things were funny at time. Something to laugh about was hard to come by those days. I was in A Trp. 3rd Plt 5-67 to 5-68.
