Comments: I regret to inform you that our fellow "C" Trooper, Douglas L. Haydon, passed on to Fiddlers Green on June 25, 2012. Doug served in RVN from August 26, 1968 to August 26, 1969 and was a Tanker in the 3rd Platoon. Doug will be missed by the many B.I.A. that served with him during that period of time, as well as, the many B.I.A. that got to know him through our Squadron reunions. The last reunion that Doug attended was our reunion in Washington D.C. in 2005. In recent years, Doug has not in the best of health and lost his final battle on June 25, 2012. Our thought and prayers will be with him always.

Submitted by Name: Tom Powell I wanted to let you and the Squadron know that our brother in arms Richard Rindt passed on to Fiddler's Green Monday June 4th. Rick and I trained basic trainees at Ft. Leonard Wood together and went to Jungle School together then went to the 3/5 Cav together. Rick was assigned to HHT in Supply his entire tour(1969-1970). When Rick returned home he became a Special Agent with the FBI and had an outstanding career. I am sure that the guys in HHT that were in country from mid 1969 to mid 1970 will remember Lt. Rindt. I tried to get him to the reunions the last three years but he did not feel good enough to get out. Please let everyone know.
