Comments: Hello, 1st I would like to thank you all for your service. The reason that I am posting this comment is because my father was in D Co. from Dec.69 to roughly May 71. He has always wanted to get in touch with the guys he served with. He is not computer savy so I have taken it upon myself to try to fing his Brothers in Arms. So if anyone on here knows James "Doug" Hardin, please contact me. He was in a Rifle company and I have heard him say "Doughboys" a number of times. Some of the names I can remeber hearing are Robert Flemming, Joe Forester, and Linwood Hope. I hope to get some sort of response. Thank you.

Comments: I served with A Trp., 3 Plt. from April '69 to April '70 on track 32. Looking for Nino Trihillio (sp?) TC, Ernest Cole or any other troopers who served in this unit when I was there. I became TC on 32 later; my driver sustained a leg wound from a morter going up Hamburger Hill. I believe I had the best firin' 50 cal which came with a brand new track before going into the a/s valley. I miss all of you every day. Please call me at (315) 262-2497. I'd love to hear from anyone from the 3rd plt. Thanks!

Comments: This is Dustin Donovan, Dannie's son. I know that we met at one of the Black Knights reunions in the past, however I would have been much younger. I wanted to write this to let you know I received and appreciated your kind words. My dad was extremely proud of his time in Vietnam, and as was made obvious to me in my life, it was because of the men he met and knew there and the experience they shared. He was always extremely excited as reunion time came close and loved to go and see all of you guys and wouldn't have missed one. I was unable to find anything that would have allowed me to contact more of his friends from Vietnam, so I was glad to see that at least you had found out so the word must have spread some. If you could please, if you haven't done so already, contact anyone you know that was also a friend of my dads. I know he would have liked more of you guys to know and it bothers me that I don't know how to get in contact with you all. Anyway, thank you again for your kind words and time. I will make sure that the Black Knights saying "IF YOU AIN'T CAV YOU AINT s***" is read at his memorial. I know that my dad definitely believed that! If you or any other Black Knights have any questions or anything, please feel free to contact me.
