Dean I sure will get together when I come back to N.Y. You don't know how much it helped this fng to connect with someone from back home so soon after being assigned to 3/5. I'm sure we'll have more opportunities to link up. Randy, I'm sorry it has taken me 40 years to thank you for what you and others did for my crew and me after we hit that mine. Just throwing out a question that has come up. When did the Sheridan tanks replace the 48's in the 3/5 cav? I know they had been there a while before I arrived in country April of 70.

Checking to see if anyone might recall our little trip into Hue city with our 3rd plt. A troop in the Tet of 68. It all seemed to be a big blurr at the time, maybe thats a good thing in a way. I left the Asha Valley 5-4-68 from Fire Base Burmingham and my burned out tank was buried there in the middle of the ammo dump with part of the turret still exposed. Was hoping someone in my plt. or others would remember those times. As I get older and look at the pictures of the troopers I served with, It makes me proud of all of you
