Been looking for something from the 3/5 Cav over the last 2 years or so, this year pretty serious when I found this site. God bless you guys for putting this together. I served with "C" Troop, Dec. '68 through Feb., '70. Looking for info on "Hippie", "Goose", "Spoon" and especially "Tiny". Contact through FB or this site. Never Forget and welcome home.

This afternoon I received a call from Ernest Garcia, JR to inform me that his Dad, Ernest "Doc" Garcia passed away this morning from multiple complications from failing organs, It's with a heavy heart that I inform you. Those that served with him in C Troop hold him in the highest of regards especially those wounded on the battlefield. He made a difference as a combat medic. He was the hero of heroes! He was a genuine, honest, and compassionate human being;a true brother in arms and a friend for life. He will be missed but not forgotten. It was my great honor to have shared time with such a wonderful man. Rest In Peace My Brother.
