Comments: David, good to hear you are still around. I was beginning to think there were few or none of us pre-TET troopers still here. I see Larry Harper's name here somewhere too, if that's the Harper I'm thinking about.
Comments: I WAS WITH 2ND PLATOON A TROOP FROM DEC 67 TO APR 68. I WAS WITH LT. TOLEDO DURING TET WHEN OUR TRACK (23) WAS HIT BY A RPG AND BURNED UP IN BEN HOA. I ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED TO LT. TOLEDO AND AM GLAD YOU MADE IT HOME OK.
Comments: For those having a problem with flights - try booking into the Springfield/Branson airport. It's about 40 miles from Branson. I'm flying from LA to Dallas, and from there on to Springfield, Mo. Also had a problem with the Branson Tourism Center. Called three times before they faxed the required form, but finally got a confirmation.

Comments: I was the FO with A Troop - Capt Windsor Ward was our CO - from about Aug 67. I took over 2nd Plt around Nov/Dec of 67 and remained till TET. I had a branch transfer in Jan 68 while recovering from a few scratches at Bearcat and did the rest of my tour with a Trans unit out of Long Binh.

Comments: Hey Mort Rothenhoefer, I think your right about my dad. I understand he was a platoon sgt. with A troop on tank A37 from May '68 to May '69. He passed away in Dec. of '73 about 6 months after he retired from the army. I've got a picture somewhere of him in front of his tank and track 35 with a bunch of the guys around him. If I can find it I'll try to get it posted. Glad to hear you got back and I hope all has been well for you. Dennis Whitman

Comments: Does anyone remember the Santa Fe operation in Nov / Dec 1967 when the Australian Infantry supplied close infantry support in the Thua Tich mountains for the 3/5 th. There are no Australian military records of the detachment. Any information would be appreciated.
