I am looking forward to seeing you at the reunion! I hope to meet many of the brave guys who manned Sheridans! How did we ever survive those damn things? Remember- we were the 'unwilling, led by the unqualified to do the unnecessary' and still did a hell of a job.
I served with three cavalry units in Nam, but my #1 allegiance will always be the 3/5 !

Was a Medic with HHT, 3rd/5th, in Feb.68 and then transferred to 'A' trp. until Jul. 68, when discharged. Bearcat until, I believe Mar. & then boat trip to Da Nang. Then North, clearing roads to Bastogne. Crossed river in North for night action. Also at Wunder Beach, Quang Tri. Wounded at Bastogne during road clearing. Was there, at Bastogne, when Westmoreland visited. Rode Track 13 most of the time. Cannot recall names except 1st name of Lt. "Lawrence".Big fire fight at Bien Ha, in Mar. or Apr. 68. Anybody out there remember me?
