Comments: On August 1st I attended the retirement ceremony for Colonel Fred (Doc) Miller, A Troop Medic 70-71 in Boise Idaho. Fred spent 28 years in the Idaho National Guard and was so highly thought of that the state awarded him a Brevet promotion to Brigadier General on his retirement. Congratulations Fred from all Black Knights!

Comments: Paul Taylor, I was in C Troop 3/5 Cav I have a hard time remembering names! Some names I can think of are 1st Sgt Ouellette, Sgt Nicholson, Wahl, Dorsey, Talosi, Cantu, Cisneros, Ingram, Hamby, Crutcher, Wiggins, Stenen, Bigbey, Rogler, and Dean Morretti which was on 37 also!

Comments: Hey David Whipp. I was on 36 and later 37 from February 70-March 71. There are several of us in the Des Moines area. We get together monthly. I met many more at Branson this year. Get in touch so we can arrange to get together.
Comments: 3rd Platoon, 3rd Squadron, 5th Armored Cavalry January 1970 - December 1970 I was on 37 tank as a loader, gunner, and driver during my time in Viet Nam!
