February 6 –24 “OPERATION GREENLEAF” – Ap Binh Son, Bien Hoa Province, III Corps

This search and destroy operation aimed at preventing VC movement during Tet of 1967 and was one of the first operations conducted by the newly arrived 2d Brigade, 9th Inf Div. The 1/39th, 2/47th, 3/47th Inf Battalion, plus 3/5th Cav participated.
