The first platoon of B Troop, 1966-68, mainly boat people from Ft Riley, will be linking up in Bozeman, MT for our annual reunion. There will be nine brothers in arms along with wives. Two weeks from today. Sadly our numbers are growing smaller each year it seems.

I did not know this page existed until I ran into Darrel Asch on a cruise. I was TC of track 22 of A troop from July 68 until Jan 27, 1969 (my birthday is 1/28), when we were caught in the ambush on highway 1. Anyone remember? I was in 7th field hospital for 3 months. They were going to send my back, but night before I was to return I came down with my first bout of what I now know is Agent Orange reaction. I have enjoyed all of your pictues. Mine were all blown up when the RPG hit us. God, we were all so young...

I am glad you all made it back and that life has been good to you.

I regret to inform you that our fellow "C" Trooper, Douglas L. Haydon, passed on to Fiddlers Green on June 25, 2012. Doug served in RVN from August 26, 1968 to August 26, 1969 and was a Tanker in the 3rd Platoon. Doug will be missed by the many B.I.A. that served with him during that period of time, as well as, the many B.I.A. that got to know him through our Squadron reunions. The last reunion that Doug attended was our reunion in Washington D.C. in 2005. In recent years, Doug has not in the best of health and lost his final battle on June 25, 2012. Our thought and prayers will be with him always.
